Thinking of building a DIY grill cart similar to this pic. Should I be sewing my own DIY cover too?
Or is that unnecessary?

Search the dimensions of your final product on Amazon. I built something similar but it’s just a bar cart and Amazon had my exact sized cover. There is a cut and sew product that comes from China and they have hundreds of size variations.

Wish I had something like this, I’m handy but that’s out of my league

I know my smoker and griddle don’t like being out in the rain…waterproof cover or under a roof type thing is my advice.

That is a gorgeous set up

This looks like midlife suburban hell in the picture.

Man, that set up is sweet! My move would be to cover something that beautiful with a blue tarp and some Harbor Freight clamps. Maybe a cinderblock on top.

I think you should masticate the tree pulp to make your own fibers while you’re at it.

I’d sub out a cover to someone local, you might be surprised at who/what can be custom made. I’d probably do synthetic on top with a cotton/canvas skirt that breathes but won’t last sadly

Make sure you place it ON TOP of a flammable surface if you do.
