Skof, Manchester *

Skof opened in Manchester to obviously a significant amount of fanfare and hype. It quickly earned its star, a high ranking in the Square meal Guide and an exceptional rating by the GFA 2025.

I absolutely loved L'Enclume so hearing that Tom Barnes was opening up his own place with a hand picked team directly from L'Enclume and other Rogan restaurants made this a must visit.

I absolutely loved it. The food was the focus here. An utterly unpretentious dining room, a healthy buzz about the place and the nicest service team ever. The food truly shun. From the langoustine and aged pork fat sourdough soaked in its own emulsion to the very very very best sladesdown duck with a jus of fig and clove, it was hit after hit after hit. The soft drinks pairing was well considered and had a significant amount of work put into it.

I loved every bit of this meal and would wholeheartedly recommend it. Another hit from Rogan alumni and will absolutely be one to return to. Full menu attached!
