Finished up a volunteer shift today and decided to stop by Novel Pizza Cafe on the way back home as I’d seen a few people mention it here.
I can confirm their Chicago tavern style is fantastic – the crust is really well done. Service was great, the gentleman at the counter (perhaps the owner) remembered my name and bid me goodbye on the way out 😃
This was my first Chicago tavern style since moving here last November! Glad it met the hype
