Is this normal? Are they still edible or have they gone bad? Their still mostly firm on the outside

    I find the best tomatoes have green gel around the seeds instead of just pale pink. More flavor.

    Could be your variety. I grow Momotaro, and they have a dark seed pocket. I was throwing them away at first. Great tasting tomato btw.

    I think you might be conditioned to store purchased mass farmed tomatoes. This is completely normal.

    Because they are homegrown and look normal because they weren’t picked by a factory farm and then gassed to ~~death~~ “ripe”
