We used this with a cone shaped colander to make apple sauce. No idea what it’s called.

You wrap thin waffles around it to make waffle cones.

    Also…the other thing.

It is a wooden pestle to a chinois set.

It’s actually a waffle cone mold for ice cream cones.

(But it could also be a dildo if you’re a lonely masochist.)

That reminds me of the little rubber cup I bought to wash my dogs paws when they’re muddy.

When you see it you can think of every other use for it but the actual use that’s intended.

A chinois set or ricer, includes the wood dowl, a metal cone shaped ricer with holes and a stand. Often used to make riced potatoes, we use ours in canning seasoning to process fruit for jam.

In my house, that’s the krumkake mold. For those rare times I decide to go fancier than a simple roll. Can be used to make waffle cones too.

It’s for getting the most liquid out of a chinoise.

It’s for cooks who whine about it being too hot. You throw it in the freezer and then drive it home.

It’s a plunger for a conical sieve called a chinois . Or a fun thing to threaten people with.

It’s the one with not a flared base. Danger! Danger!

Where I’m from that’s a hand whittled bedroom utensil bro. Probably from a sailor. I’ll bet there’s a cool scrimshaw he did on the side that probably doubles as instructions. Since whale oil isn’t as common as it used ro be I’d go with coconut oil.

Everything is a sex toy if you have enough courage!
But IRL it’s used to mash stuff through a sieve.

my mom had one for making grape jelly, used to press the cooked grapes through a colander type thing that was also cone shaped.

However, it also looks a lot like the tool for handmaking waffle cones. could be both.
