First time cooking a thicker steak on a pan, how’d I do?

    Seasoned, wrapped for 24 hours seared high heat cast iron with avocado oil for a few minutes each side. Then transferred to stainless steel on medium temp with butter, cooked for about 10 minutes and rest for 5.

    Also trying to eat pretty lean so no side today

    I’m sure it was super good but those juices on the plate tell a story. Let it rest a little longer. Cheers.

    Fantastic steak! I would definitely eat that. Maybe let it rest a little more to really keep on those juices, but otherwise very nicely done

    Looks incredible (assuming the liquid under it didn’t come from the steak after cutting)
