  4. This is a great call! Omi once had a BLT from a restaurant, but it had fried cod or perch or some other kind of pretty neutral white fish in it. It added a great amount of substance/heft to the sandwich while not adding any overpowering flavors that detracted from the key players. Now that I’ve gotten into sardines/tinned fish, I’m definitely going to have to give this a go!

    I never would have thought of this. My first reaction was that the bacon was unnecessary. Then I thought further.
