
It was before I added the 다대기 and the first time I had 김치순대.
For those that don’t know 순대 or soondae is blood sausage. Some of it can be very rubbery which is actually nice with ddeokbokki but the good stuff is so soft and flavourful. The red one is blood sausage with kimchi in it and the 다대기 I mentioned is a red pepper paste that’s not gochujang that you add to the soup. This was fantastic.

Where was this place?
I get dwaeji gukbap every time I go to Busan. My wife and I went to some place in Nampodong that was over 50 years old and had all these cool old photos. We thought it was great. But then my father and I took me to some random hole in the wall spot in an obscure area and it absolutely blew the other place out of the water.
