The hostel kitchen was well utilized this evening, as was the local market. Fresh baguette loaded with goats cheese, Spanish olive oil, jamon, pavo, boquerones, gardinera peppers, avocado, arthicoke hearts, mini gherkins and a juicy beefsteak tomato!

  1. Looks tasty.

In Spain we would call that a “Bocata”

We use sandwich only when it’s made with soft sliced bread

I had those peppers at a tapas bar one time and I’ve been craving them ever since. Wish they were more common in the states.

That’s a freaking *stunning* sandwich! Phenomenal configuration and the bread is gorgeous.

Beautiful sandwich, but that tomato is genuinely breathtaking!

There are few foods in this world I love more than boquerones.

  6. This is how I want all my vacation photos to look.
