Hey guys, I thought I’d share some of my fav foods that I’ve ate that has me 14 pounds away from my goal !!!

A few months ago, I had posted about how difficult it was for me to track and even eat at 1500 cals, I am proud to say I’ve powered through and making simple meals has been my savior.

Some may find this controversial, but I have ate mainly frozen single serve meals! It saves me money, time, and being completely transparent, cooking and checking calories is very overwhelming for me, and I’m just not at that point yet( I will get there tho, I used to make low cal tacos!!!!).

My fav brands are Stouffers, Evol, and Lean Cuisine. I also am a big egg eater, I can eat it everyday without getting bored of it. These frozen single serve meals also come in handy as I’m a college student who lives 40 mins away from campus and am out often from 11am to 9pm.

Having handy snacks has also changed the game for me, in every meal, I will add a handful of veggies or fruit, which helps make me more full( also Light & Fit yogurt, only 80 cals).

My fav low cal snacks atm:
1. Quest bars( people say they taste weird, but I like the chewy texture of it, and they help me feel full): 180-190 cals
2. Kellog Cinnamon Pastry Crisps(These aren’t super filling but they taste good and hold you over during the day.): 100 cals each
3. Baked Chips( These are so good, and they hold me over quite well): 80-120 cals

Also, I used whipped cream cheese which is 2 tbsp for the green peppers and I for my eggs I usually use a low fat shredded cheese, but when I don’t have that, I only do 2 tbsp.

Gum is also a lifesaver to avoid boredom or emotional eating, especially when I am stressed. I was at a bit of a plateau where I had lost 10 pounds and then I would gain it back, in a vicious cycle. If you’re in this cycle, see it through, but don’t starve yourself.

    I just discovered the Lean Cuisine protein meals and enjoy the pizza one too for a pizza fix ☺️

  2. I will finish adding the cals for each of the pics in a sec, having dinner!!
    First Pic: 547 Cals( It would have been 500 had I used my usual regular Turkey Sausage but there was no more.) I did a 1/4 tbsp of the everything seasoning btw.

    Second Pic: 495 Cals ( The Lean Cuisine Pizza is 390 cals, and I used one pepper, 2 tbsp of whipped cream cheese, 1 tsp of the seasoning and a mini cucumber)

    Third Pic: 566 cals( Stouffers French Bread Pizza + 80 cal yogurt + Blueberries + 25 cal 1 tbsp of granola)

    Fourth Pic: 510 cals( I don’t remember the exact ingredients but I do remember it was a half salad and VERY filling, I will look through my receipts for this)

    Fifth Pic: 425 cals( Stouffers Chicken Pesto is 430 but some strawberries, tbh this wasn’t that filling of a meal, wish I added some broccoli or peppers on side.)

    I also don’t strictly eat these frozen single serve meals, I will alternate and eat some home cooked meals, but usually have to track very meticulously for those and it’s kinda annoying. I’m also not perfect at all with tracking, I was tracking on and off two weeks ago while eating Wendys😂😂

    It’s good to be consistent but if you need a break, take it. One day will not set you back, and I am proof of that. Also, not gonna lie, I don’t see much of a difference in my body, it’s a subjective thing, but it looks the same to me, but I am more energized and my health issues have calmed down. Weight loss can be hard, but it gets easier.

  3. I’m also just going to really hit home that I don’t restrict myself at all, I love crumbl and those mini cookies always come in handy !!!!

    I also love REAL pizza and dominos is good every now and then. I truly don’t think I would be able to lose weight and keep going if I didn’t have days where I gave in & enjoyed a pasta breadbowl. You can be disciplined and still make room for one day( if you want!)
