Looks like standard small East Texas town Mexican restaurant food. Not bad but not the best.

Tortilla to filling ratio… jail

I wish more people would realize that their food photography doesn’t necessarily sell itself and it would be more helpful if the OP at least described what separates the food they’re advocating beyond what every other other similar looking food has to offer.
Also, Taylor seems a bit far to drive specifically to eat for anything other than Louie Mueller, so if the barometer is “if you happen to be passing through” is this sub literally open to anywhere?

those tortillas are legit

No salsa? straight to jail. Those tortillas look nice. I have never encountered a link sausage taco at a restaurant before, but I make them all the time at home. I prefer to slice down the length. My wife refuses to eat link sausage tacos, she claims it’s the wrong format.

Most legit looking tacos I’ve seen north of San Antonio.

Is that a jambalaya taco?
