This was an amazing experience as all 8 were fantastic and showed the producers evolution.
Everything was tasted at roughly 2pm with this schedule:
Opened 2020 at 9:30
2015 at 10
2010 10:30
2005 11
2000 11:30.
Just opened and then I decanted all at around 12:15.
The 95/90/85 I opened at 1 and decanted for sediment at 1:30.
All poured side by side blind for all.
85 my WOTN. The nose, I couldn’t get enough. This Smokey red fruit, tertiary bomb with lingering primary. When I first popped the cork smelled amazing. Certainly faded, but this wine was epic.
90, high expectations and it was like the 85 but a tad more primary. Aromatics not quite as pronounced.
95, lower expectations and this was great. Very pungent aromatics, some pyrazine but just lovely.
00, this took a big step toward primary fruit while still being aged. Quite amazing yet a bit restrained. Got better, much better with time.
05, now we are modern. This thing was texturally amazing. Velvet. I haven’t had a wine this velvety with few exceptions. 15 San Giusto ricolma and 03 araujo. This thing was WOTN for the group and was so pleasurable. Just perfect mix of terriary and primary with this u describable texture.
10, closed. But when it opened after hour, it was OPEN. Hang on to these, huge upside potential. Lovely lovely wine that needs time.
15, WOTN for one person. I thought the aromatics were closed but it was a pleasure bomb on the pallet. Once again, patience.
20, so unique compared to the others. Its color was different. Purple v red. Michel Roland? Not sure when he got involved. This thing needs time but has amazing freshness compared to the others.

Incedibile vertical. Not sure my pallet could have hung in there. You must have had a nice tasting crew with you.
