First I find out this place exists yesterday , then this crawls across my feed this morning. I won't say this is a bad combo of flavors, but it's not a pizza.

  1. From Wikipedia on “Pizza di Pasqua”:

“The name pizza is here to be understood not in the recent meaning that has spread into Italian through the Neapolitan language, but in the original Medieval Latin meaning of ‘focaccia’, thus suggesting an ancient origin of the dish. The term piza in Medieval Latin is first attested in 966 in Naples and in 997 in Gaeta, and was also used to designate ceremonial food baked for Easter like the Easter pizzas. Similar preparations (pizza alla rustica, pizza di ricotta) can be found in cookery manuals from the early 19th century such as that of Vincenzo Agnoletti.”

It’s a traditional savory cake made since the Middle Ages in Central Italy. Not a crime!

Well, now I know what I’m making for Easter. What’s the name of the place OP??

  3. I don’t know what that is supposed to be, but I’d definitely try a piece.

  4. OrochiKarnov

They make HARD ricotta?! Whatever this lasagna thing is, it ain’t no crime.

  5. hors3withnoname

That looks unhealthy, but I’d try a tiny bit

Not pizza- not pie- meat and cheese cake- beautifully done!

  7. Adding this because I just want to be clear here.

I’m not saying this doesn’t look tasty. I’m saying that calling it a pizza IS the crime. I used the “identity theft” flair to point that out.

  8. Pandabumone

Maybe a crime, but I’m letting you off for good behavior.

  9. stolen_pillow

I don’t care what you call it, I would smash that in a heartbeat.

  10. AsleepInteraction882

That’s not a pizza that is a pie, this is a crime as its no longer pizza.
