Every year my daughter draws or brainstorms her own birthday cake


Here’s the last four years:
– 6, “Rainbow Mermaid Bacon Donut” was the instruction
– 7, Mermaid Scales w/ Whipped Cream and a Strawberry on top drawing
– 8, “Harry Potter but surprise me” was the instruction
– 9, Squishmallow Rainbow Leopard drawing

My boys give me a rough idea of what kind of cake they want but my daughter goes all in. I wish every year she drew them because it’s so fun bringing them to life! I like to think my skills have grown over the years also.

    The local neighborhood bakery of my childhood brought my doodles to life for years via frosting for my birthday cakes! They also make our wedding cake three years ago!
