Big fan of this place. Same owner/founder as Jeff’s Table. OyBar is like a fusion of classic Jewish deli meals mixed with high-end Japanese cuisine.
They put a new burger on the menu this month that’s a BBQ Bacon cheeseburger that’s amazing. They also had a new chicken karaage starter that was delicious. Very juicy, tender, and citrusy. Not too spicy either.
Also love the crispy potatoes with the chutney sauce.

A couple other things, you can usually get a seat at the bar on most nights. You can usually get a table if you wait a little bit without making a reservation if there isn’t seating available. Staff and service are also very good.
Better then a in n out 3×3 and under 15$
will they cook the burger if you ask them? I don’t do mushy pink burgers.

I haven’t found any place in California that beats any decent burger in New York
