Ingredients
1 lb sausage with sage
6 slices of white bread
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 eggs
2 cups of milk
½ tsp salt
½ tsp dry mustard
Directions~
Fry the sausage. Drain grease onto a paper towel lined plate.
Grease 9 x 13″ pan.
Butter the 6 slices of bread and put them buttered side down.
Sprinkle cheese over the bread.
In mixing bowl, add eggs. Beat the four eggs with a whisk. Whisk in the milk, salt, and dry mustard. Pour over the bread and cheese.
Sprinkle the sausage over the top.
Cover and refrigerate over night.
* If you want to have it for dinner, refrigerate it for about 8 hours.
Bake it a 325 for 1 hour. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes. It is better if you let it cool for at least 5 minutes to let it set, so when you get it out it all stays in one piece.
