I’ve been disappointed by several Michelin star restaurants, but this was worth the money. Everything was so well-balanced and delicious.

That is why I don’t go to Michelin starred restaurants. I require more food than that.

The menu is a silly fancy restaurant menu that just says one word “vege cookie” “tomato” “carrot” — so I’ll just try to remember.

The first one was like a sandwich but with crackers, in the middle was this very flavorful veggie pate.

The second was a kind of… tart? But made of jicama, and on top was a nut-based cream filling, and topped with seeds and herbs. There was sauce with vegan caviar.

The third was a carrot puree, with various fruits and seeds. I actually loved this one.

The forth was a soup with the most amazing homemade bread (toasted with an herby oil).

The fifth was a corn-based dish that was crazy good. Like, gnocchi made of corn? And then giant, crisped corn. Little fermented corns. It was a corn medley, but all different flavors and textures.

The sixth was the carrot puree again because I’m an idiot and uploaded it wrong. It’s supposed to be a tomato thing.

Seventh was a cauliflower steak, because I don’t eat mushroom (the real entree), but my Bf tried the mushroom and the cauliflower and said they were equally good — which I believe.

I posted out of order (still an idiot) but this was desert #1. A homemade pistachio ice cream with a berry compote. Not super sweet, very rich.

This is the real entree — mushroom steak.

Us eating dessert #2. The best tea in the world (swordbean), a fruit jelly, and a chocolate Christmas cake!!
