That’s what about $80 worth of food?

  2. EngineeredAsshole

OP just took out a second mortgage to buy lunch

  3. drinkandreddit

Oh, is that what we’re doing today? We’re fighting?

  4. slop1010101

I wish they would season their meat instead of letting the toppings do all the lifting.

    That looks decent!

It is mind boggling the difference between franchises.

Ours is so filthy, I walked in and walked out without ordering.

5 guys burger is what .. $12? Why is it memed to death about the price. That’s similar to every other fast casual

    *Obligatory “it’s expensive” comment

But seriously, Five Guys is delicious, esp with their selection of toppings. And the fries are always great. Solid all-around. I go there when I crave it, which is often

For the price, Five Guys is very mid. They don’t even season their beef, which is just weird. Any chef in the world will at least put some salt on a hamburger patty.

The best part about Five Guys are the fries, by far.

I will literally just get fries and peanuts if I want to save money, still love this place

Five guys is my #1 followed by Culver’s, but their fries suck, so I only go there if I’m in the mood for onion rings with my burger.

  11. Artemistical

love me some five guys and the fact that I can add a ton of toppings

Lots of places have better burgers (Culver’s specifically), but few places come anywhere close to the magic of their fries.

Man you just can tell that’s an American meal right there, I’m not saying that’s a bad thing I would eat the shit out of that burger,

I’ve heard it’s a really good deal these days.

  15. Recently had Five Guys for the first time. Not impressed. Felt like their burgers *falling apart* is manufactured. Also way overpriced. The only memorable thing about it was walking away feeling ripped off.

  16. ThanosWasRightHanded

My experiences with five guys. Fries are always soft as wet pool noodles. Completely unseasoned, bland Pattys. And burgers so caked in oil the buns are see through. The one by me is horrid. Always mid af barely edible slop for $$. Wrote them off about a year ago. Never again. Burned too many times.

  17. Embarrassed_Piano_49

By far the best burger ive had. Ive had multiple burgers from all the chains and restaurants you can think of. I just love how messy it is. 🥴

  18. Nobody asked me but that’s a damn fine way to spend a twenty 😆

  19. Prestigious_Snow1589

Yeah I ate Five guys last night. Totally worth it

  20. Sure_Difficulty_4294

Awesome burgers. I strongly believe I could pound about five of them in one sitting. I just have to save up for a few decades to afford it.

  21. Why can’t they have a fry order that is appropriate for one person? That would help with pricing. Government should probably require it like they do with big gulps.

  22. TomatoBible

    🫤 Meh.
Personally I hate the weird sour, non melted cheese, it ruins the whole Burger experience for me, even if I was willing to put up with the crappy stiff weird fries.

  23. samuel_c_lemons

Just had some in Halifax the other day! So tasty!

  24. Best burger around IMO. Expensive yes. But not a whole lot more than McDonald’s.

  25. TehReclaimer2552

I wouldn’t recommend Five Guys to my worst enemy.

  26. USAhotdogteam

Has anyone tried a bacon cheese dog with lettuce, tomatoes, onion raw and grilled, A1 sauce?
