I’ve been trying to stick to 1200 calories for a few weeks, and really got more strict with it in the last week tracking everything carefully. I was definitely eating closer to 3,000 calories as a baseline- I’m 5’3” and started at 172lbs. Today I weighed myself and I’m at 168lbs! Progress makes me feel really motivated to keep this up.
I think I need to mess around with these Kodiak Power Cakes. I put a 1/2c. of the powder in a bowl, added more water than the box called for and only used half of the mix so the measurement there is a rough estimate. My husband says they don’t freeze well otherwise I’d measure it out precisely and stick a bunch in the freezer. If anyone has any tips I’d really appreciate it.

Side note these strawberries taste way too good in the syrup. I feel like I could stick just strawberries in a bowl with a drizzle of the syrup and it would be an amazing snack for like <50 calories lol.
Awesome job 🤘
Honestly my tip would be to have the same amount of daily calories in 2 (or even OMAD) meals a day rather than 3 + snacks. You can then feel satiated twice (or full once) a day and include some of your favourite more calorific foods. YMMV ofc, but for me this is what has kept me consistent with my weight loss rather than giving up as I have previously. Also I’ve always seemed to feel not very hungry until I start eating for the day, so breakfast really isn’t for me.
Food scale! Measure the dry powder in grams and that will give you a more accurate measurement, as volume measurements can vary widely.
