$26 doesn’t look too bad for all of that. I’d probably need a side of rice or two to go with it lol. Also, that piece looks like squid.

Damn. How long was the wait?

I used to go there for the same lunch special once in a while when it was like $15 or so, then slowly creeped up to $20 over the years, then I stopped going.
Good to see they still keep serving more or less the same things. Mostly a variety of tuna, squid, a piece or two of non tuna sashimi, cooked fish scraps and one small piece of cooked fish (often salmon). Accompany with tofu, rice, pickles, and miso soup. Definitely a tasty high protein meal.
Now for $26, I personally would spend more for a set of sashimi with more variety of raw fish/ seafood.

That’s a piece of konnyaku, type of root jelly

Looks like squid—Ika with a sweet miso sauce

I also had a $26 lunch at a sushi restaurant… except mine doesn’t look like a toddler threw blobs of crap onto a plate.

were you full after that? I don’t really get eating sashimi for lunch unless you are planning on day drinking
