If you live in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro and are looking for a free sweet treat, Chick-fil-A has got you covered.
Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area will offer diners a free Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy beverage from Monday, March 17, through Saturday, March 22.
The promotion is valid through the Chick-fil-A app, while supplies last. To claim the offer, customers should open the app and redeem the reward at participating Dallas-Fort Worth-area Chick-fil-A restaurants.
“Bringing new and exciting flavors to our guests is something we love to do,” Jeff Mulkey, local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Cockrell Hill, said in a statement. “The Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy is a bright and refreshing new flavor, and we can’t wait to share a taste of it with our Dallas-Fort Worth community — just in time for spring!”
Chick-fil-A’s new Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy blends the restaurant’s signature Sunjoy — a mix of Chick-fil-A lemonade and freshly brewed sweetened iced tea — with natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors for a refreshing twist.
Dragonfruit is a royal fuchsia fruit that has a delicate sweetness and tartness similar to a pear or apple.
The Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy joins a lineup of other new beverages that will be released March 17.
Here are the three other drinks that will be joining the menu:
Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade: This frosty drink is a combination of lemonade (or diet lemonade), Chick-fil-A’s Icedream dessert, and pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade: This sweet sipper will combine the beloved classic lemonade with the fruit flavors. (It also will be available in diet lemonade.)Pineapple Dragonfruit Iced Tea: If you prefer just iced tea, this drink adds the fruit beverages to the restaurant’s freshly-brewed tea.
Chick-fil-A also is bringing back its smokehouse BBQ bacon sandwich, which pairs a chicken filet with crispy bacon that’s hand-tossed in a brown sugar and black pepper blend. It’s topped with Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce and a smoky barbecue sauce and served on a toasted yeast bun. Diners can customize their sandwiches by choosing the original, spicy or classic grilled filets.
