CAVA, the national Mediterranean chain, is planning to open a location at 1740 S.W. Wanamaker Road in Topeka.

A CAVA spokesperson confirmed the chain’s plans but couldn’t give an opening date.

“We cannot confirm an opening timeframe at this time, but additional information will be provided when we get closer to the restaurant opening. We look forward to welcoming the Topeka community to our table.” the spokesperson said. “Our mission is to bring heart, health, and humanity to food.”

What’s on the CAVA menu?

“We are the Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant brand serving delicious food that helps more people eat well and live well. Guests can enjoy chef-curated or individually customized bowls and pitas made with fresh, high-quality ingredients for every palate,” the spokesperson said.

CAVA’s Mediterranean choices include bowls including “Greens and Grains,” “Salad” or “Grain.” Along with bowls, customers can find five different pita choices on the menu and the ability to build their own.

Side options include classic pita chips, pitas, crazy feta, hummus, harissa, tzatziki, red pepper hummus and roasted eggplant. Customers can also enjoy three different dessert choices.
