That's how my family makes pesto! Just adding a liiiiittle bit of stock aswell before blending Also if you put not only parmesan but also roasted Pinenuts on the finished pesto it's even more amazing!
… You're meant to make pesto with Mortar and Pestle and not a kitchen machine… So if you truly want it to be pesto and not just the ingredients blended together… that's how to do it. (It does require a bit more work on your side 😊, but it is definitely worth it… ).
You should never cook pesto. It destroys the flavor. In the case of pasta, cut the heat, make your pesto, keep some pasta water and mix with it on the stove, but heat off
you know why its called pesto? because you make it in mortal and pestle. this technique makes the pesto taste 100x more flavorful, the consistency is way better, and its the right way to make it
No lemon, no pepper, no salt, Pune nuts should not be toasted…the garling has to be added at last and cut in half you don't eat it, you let it sit in there to give flavour, in fact it's better to make pesto the day before
My SIL realized there are some foods we never eat because, being the only females in our families, only we enjoy. Like pasta with basil pesto, or pasta puttenesca. We decided to one day make dinner for us two and the men can eat instant noodles.
pine nuts are kind of expensive where i am, so i tried baby spinach (couldn't find basil worth buying) and walnuts. add the garlic, parm, oil, seasonings and it really can do the trick.

Normal pesto
This isn't pesto… pesto is specifically crushed. That's what gives it the right flavour.
I could trauma dump about all my exes but I’m a guy so how would that go viral lmao
Ok so.. she had dinner right? But it’s traumatic because she is a girl? What the freak
gotta try this

Dude I make pesto at home every week and it tastes soooo much better than store-bought pesto
Yeah, it is, but pinenuts are EXPENSIVE
The pack of pine nuts alone costs wayyyyy more than a jar of pesto. Just buy it and your “10” min meal ( def longer) turns to 2 mins instead.
Don't blend olive oil, it will taste bitter. Mix it in with a spoon after!
Yeah home made is better cause you don't have stale oil. However i would have added a splash of heavy cream with only a little pasta water🎉
Pro tip, instead of a food processor, use a morsel. It keeps a lot more of the flavour intact
Yes toasted pine nuts is always better
Incredible video, please continue to make more. ❤
my girl dinner is bob Evans mashed potatoes and veggies lol
The real ones know this is blendo, not pesto.
Why is it different to regular pesto?

Pine nuts are too expensive for this to be reasonable, and anything you make with a blender is not girl dinner.
Homemade pesto is tasty but the amount of pine nuts you would need just make it unfeasibly expensive for anything more than a rare occasion.
9/10 .. so, worth the trauma dum, huh?! 😅😂

Pesto? More like blendo
Trauma dumping? 🤦🏽♀️
You can sub toasted sunflower seeds for pine nuts if you can't find pine nuts or are on a budget.
Pesto is not blended, you need to crush it. Pesto is not the name of the sauce but the way it’s made.
It might be better but it's also 5x more expensive
I've seen her so much yet never even watched the vid lol. Just learning it was a whole tutorial😂

😂 Susie Pesto
Pesto is not pesto if its blended. It is what it is

I don’t think this should be called trauma dumping. It’s just a quick dinner.
This is just normal pesto receipe…
what does she mean "call me crazy" its js regular pesto pasta 😭
