Pastrami followed closely by Cubano but they are all winners.

all of these sandwiches are amazing but most of these photos are trash representations

  3. This is missing a lot of great American sandwiches and some of the placements are weird but I gotta go with the Philly cheesesteak here, close runner up is fried chicken, then followed up by everything else tied at a close third except the fancy pbj which is in 29th place

  4. The New Jersey Sloppy Joe.

But if I must select from the list above, the po boy. Specifically, the 10-napkin roast beef debris po boy at Acme Oyster House.

Top 4: philly, chick sandwich, pastrami, and BBQ. Depends on my mood but damnnn they all sound good right now

Lobster rolls generally come in two options: Connecticut (hot w/ butter) or Maine (cold w/ mayo) style. Neither of those places are Boston.

    Boston, Miami, NY

Can’t pick one right now… If a Reuben was in there, it would be that

We can agree that’s a trash representation of la. Where’s the torta ?

  9. spaceace321

Italian beef is my favorite but can’t say it’s the best

  10. irate_alien

My favorite is the Cuban. I like all the contrasting flavors

They did la dirty, I mean they must have like a torta or something better?

Fuck off with Boston’s being the lobster roll. I’m a Maine islander and we fully claim those and the right to grossly overcharge tourists for them. It’s possible they were invented in Connecticut but we perfected them and are best known for them. That KC sandwich looks incredible, though.

Why is the LA sammie a fancy PB&J and not a torta?

  14. sandwichcandy

How is a pb&j both the best LA has to offer and anywhere near top 9 for America?

  15. Irving_Forbush

Pastrami on rye, followed by the KC BBQ, followed by the cheesesteak.

  16. ReverendHambone

The worst Cuban I’ve ever had is better than any other sandwich I’ve ever had.

  17. clallseven

As much as I wanna say Italian beef, it’s cubano for me.

  18. Ok-Commercial-924

Who put a pb&j on this list. It is the only one that is a hard pass with so many others that are great.

  19. Imaginary_Audience_5

Assuming they were all offered at the same price, I’m going lobster roll.

  20. LA has the best Mexican food in Mexico, tf did pbj come from?

  21. deadbabysteven

Being from Philly I’ll go with the Cheesesteak closely followed by the Chicago Beef.

Unfortunately the beat sandwich in Philly is not listed which is the Roast Pork. I like John’s the best

  22. Superb-Control5184

Leaving out Pierre’s French Dip from Los Angeles is a damn shame

  23. Main-Elevator-6908

Philadelphian here voting for the cubano.

Missing too many sandwiches to not be rage bait. Reuben #1!
