BETHESDA, MD — Mandi Mediterranean Bar Grill Lounge opened in downtown Bethesda on Saturday in the former space of Bangkok Garden, according to reports.
On its Facebook page, the restaurant described it as “an Arabic restaurant that offers a wide variety of Mediterranean appetizers and entrées such as kabobs,” The MoCo Show reported Saturday.
The menu includes samosas, kibbeh, falafel, hummus, baba ghanouj, shawarma, chicken dishes, lamb dishes, and a variety of kabobs.
Bangkok Garden closed at the location in August 2021, according to Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row.
Mandi’s hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant is located at 4906 St. Elmo Avenue in Bethesda.
