From a collection. Enjoyed at Harlo Steakhouse in Las Vegas. 45 minute decant.

Dark ruby. Darker than I anticipated. No real signs of age based on color alone.

Nose was incredible. Pure Gevrey Chambertin. Ripe red fruits and a floral bouquet with some black pepper. I didn’t pick up any earthiness or funk at any point.

On the palate was layers of cherry, and raspberry. Red fruit and Black pepper. Silky tannins. Finish was insane. Not much earthiness detected on this particular bottle.

Perhaps the best wine I’ve ever tasted. Worth the price of admission, IMO.
