My son got 6 stitches today. Asked him how I could make him feel better and he said steak. Here is my attempt at being a good dad.

Did you put it directly on the coals bro? Lol

Dude that crust looks awesome I hope he liked it. What did you season that with???

Did you put some sort of dry rub on it? Looks too even to be burnt.

When I was younger I ate a black and blue steak and loved the crust but wanted it a little more done on the inside so I would ask for black and medium. This is precisely how I would have wanted it too. Fast forward I refined my taste to crusty medium rare but it looks great and even better Dad move!

Can you still be adopted if you are an adult (asking for a friend)

You’re a good dad. Wishing your son a fast recovery! And the steak looks awesome!

Great sear, perfect medium doneness. He’s a lucky kid, good on ya!

Hey Dad, I’ve had a pretty crappy day, too… Medium rare, please.

  10. Steak looks awesome. I like a good crust on mine too. I like to sautee my broccoli to get a similar effect!

No “attempts” here, all I see is success.

Gorgeous steak, but 6 stitches for only 5 slices is an injustice

Good steak. Good dad. Make sure you teach him how to cook so he can return the favor. Hope he recovers soon

Nice steak! Seasoning your broccoli would be my only suggestion

That’s above “good” Dad, that’s “great” Dad status right there. Cheers to you, sir!

If only all life’s problems could be solved with a good steak…

I mean, a lot can. World Hunger can be solved with a [lot of] good steak[s], and Bad Days turn into Slightly-less Bad Days with steak…
