From my understanding this would be an early model that was built in the states before they shipped production over seas. I very well could be wrong though.

It’s retail $1200, and you won’t get any warranty if you buy used. I think $875 is definitely overpriced

I did, for the exact same grill, about 3 years ago.i had a feed issue once, other than that it’s been an absolute beast.

I’m still rolling with mine from that era. It’s a tank. I might try to negotiate down a little though 6-700 would be my target.

I sold mine for 700.00 after 3 years .. it was garage kept, ceramic coated lid.. and had an entire box of parts. Extra auger, motor, fan, upgraded wheels and downdraft.. so I think it’s a little high.. don’t get me wrong.. great machine! You could almost get a BULLSEYE new and sear at 1000 degrees..

So, I just tried to negotiate the price down and the guy said he would come down to $850. He says it two years old, lightly used and stored in the garage.

One of the big draws to rec teq is their warranties and customer service and you won’t get that buying used. I wouldn’t pay more than like $500

The extra 200 bucks is worth it for the warranty alone.

Buy it. I have two. You’ll love it. They are built like tanks and get the job done very well. They retail new around 12-1300 I believe
