“I put that sh*t on everything.”
(You’ve got me beat, bro. One a those will last me about three weeks. Eggs and pasta are still my favorite things to put it on. Pizza too. And of course sticky rice.)
Almostofar
I was eating spoon fulls like peanut butter for awhile, now I’m on a Kimchi kick.

The best. Nuff said.

It’s not bad. I wish it had more of a kick though. I need to get chilli crisp with more spice.
scarymonst
Way better than Sriracha

Approx 1100mg of sodium per day, if you’re consuming one jar per week – about half your daily recommended intake. Probably not a problem if you’re healthy and blood pressure is ok, just fyi!

How is your stomach holding up. When I eat that much chili I loose weight very fast via bathroom 🚻. It’s good but not without consequence for me.
Just FYI you can buy those in bulk sizes 136oz / 3.8kg.
It will be much cheaper in the long run, though it might also encourage you to eat more.

They were off the shevles in my area for like 2 years, and I thought about self harm. Taste is just a bit differnt, don’t care.
Sooooo glad it’s back. My #1 condiment. Better than Tabassco on, pizza, soup, chips…. Don’t care.
srirachacoffee1945
I could, easily, but I can’t afford to buy one every week, so i’ve gotta make it stretch. Either way, that stuff is amazing, good for tacos, burritos, pizza rolls, collard greens, rice, so many things.

Make your own, super simple and delicious.
Sambal Oelek Ingredients * 1 pound red chili peppers, stems removed Thai is traditional, but red jalapenos, serranos and cayenne peppers are good substitutes OR * 4 oz dried peppers(soak to rehydrate) * 2 tablespoons rice vinegar * 1 tablespoon salt * 2 garlic cloves * 1 teaspoon lime juice
Instructions * Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or other grinder. A Molcajete is a great option here. * Grind until a course paste forms. You can strain out some of the excess liquid if you’d like. * Add to a jar and cover. Refrigerate until ready to use.
