Should I throw these out like my family keep telling me to do? Or should I drink them and go to Valhalla
Old bottles of wine from my Nanna's estate. Excuse the cut on my hand I had to go to hospital for it late last week after I accidentally stabbed myself lol

Step 1: Seek medical attention for that hand laceration
Step 2: Drink em

Only the first one is talvez wine. The second is some likely nasty wine-based aperitif and the third a cheap port. The first may have turned to vinegar, but there’s no knowing until you try. The others will still be drinkable (long aged tawny or Ruby port can be interesting, though not something you would do), though no revelation.

Aglianico del vulture è buono, ma la tua bottiglia se non è stata conservata a tappo bagnato, avrai solo del buon aceto Ciao.

That aglianico is probably awesome. I’d definitely try them, port always ages well, even the cheap stuff usually. Worth trying and dump them if they’re bad, nothing to lose!

Valhalla it is! To infinity & BEYOND! 😁

The Porto might be really interesting. I’d open, decant it, and enjoy it! We found a cheap 40 yo bottled in 1984 at my friend. Poorly kept in a warm cupboard for 30+ years…. To this day one of the best thing I ever drank.

First one, probably not so nice. Second one, maybe? (But doubtful). Third one, open and enjoy, there’s potential!
