Hi everyone! I just started a charcuterie business and am unsure of what to charge. I use cheeses mostly from Costco and Trader Joe’s. Fruit varies from Costco and farmers market. I like to add all crackers on the side and usually give them a variety of choices. I’m not sure the exact measurements of the board but it was able to feed 8 people. Any suggestions to make my board better are welcome !!

Gorgeous! I’d say total up your costs, and double it to pay yourself back.

I always have trouble pricing my boards too cause I end up with a lot of extra supplies.

So what did you actually charge?

I might expect to pay in the ballpark of 125-165.

Double your resource costs and add 50$ for the cost of gas and 1-2h of your work.

I don’t have an answer but this is beautiful! Is that blueberry goat cheese on the left? If so, I’m impressed at how cleanly you cut it. Mine always looks a mess.

  6. This would run me (top-level) 160$cad in Montreal but i’d pay 220 because it is art.

edit: lowballing bc i’m probably cheap

I don’t have an opinion on pricing. Just wanted to say it looks great! The variety of items is really nice.

Figure out your mark up percentage and the do math. (Sell Price – Cost) / Cost * 100 = mark up percentage. 40% to 50% mark up?
