Amazing! Do you think this would work with regular tofu?

I need to try this! Looks like it might be an easy way to get more tofu into my meals. Roughly how long do you need to leave it in the waffle iron?

  3. I guess this need to be tried out! Doesn’t it just taste like unflavored tofu?

This is foul. This isn’t a waffle. It’s just tofu smashed in a waffle maker. No seasoning or anything. 😂

This is like a parody an anti vegan would make to make fun of what people think vegans eat. Unseasoned tofu with peanut butter on top.

These high protein workout people are mad sometimes. If what you truly want is a flavorless nutrient cube, just eat a flavorless nutrient cube!

Sorry, I don’t think this is a recipe when the star player here is a waffle iron.

You tossed a unseasoned slice of tofu into a machine until it was hot & that was the entire process and ingredient list.

This is pretty underwhelming homie, and not at all a recipe.

    INGREDIENTS

    – Tofu (soy-free tofu, specifically Big Mountain brand)

    – Almond butter (preferably crunchy and salted from Trader Joe’s)

    – Sugar-free raspberry preserves (jelly)

    – Salt (for seasoning)

    – Optional: Food scale (for accurate ingredient measurements)

    DIRECTIONS

Start by preheating your waffle maker, setting it to a medium-high heat level (around 4). While it heats up, open your tofu block and drain any liquid. Cut the block into four smaller pieces by slicing it in half and then halving each piece again.

Once the waffle maker is ready, place two pieces of tofu onto the heated surface. Close the lid and let it cook until the tofu becomes crispy. Carefully remove the cooked pieces using a fork or another utensil to avoid burning yourself.

Spread almond butter evenly over the tofu waffles, using a food scale if you want precise measurements. Add a layer of sugar-free raspberry preserves on top of the almond butter, and sprinkle a little salt for extra flavor.

If you’re not eating immediately, you can briefly place the waffles back in the waffle maker to reheat before serving. Enjoy your delicious, high-protein tofu waffles.

Soy-free tofu is a plant-based protein alternative made primarily from fava beans, which provides a high protein content without the carbohydrates and fat typically found in soy-based tofu. It can be used in various recipes and is suitable for those with soy allergies

Shut the fuck up. I can’t believe I’ve never thought of this

Cinnamon rolls and tater tots smashed into hash browns is what I mostly make in a waffle iron
