Costco is constantly stocking its shelves with French-inspired finds — from almond Florentine cookies to flaky croissant rolls to bottles of Chablis. If you peruse through the warehouse store’s aisles, you’ll spot all kinds of gems that will transport you to France. Now, people on social media can’t stop posting about one particular French find that recently began appearing on the shelves at Costco.

The St Michel French Mini Tarts first showed up on shelves at Costco last year. The desserts, which lean on pâte sablée, a classic shortbread-like crust, act as the foundation for tropical fillings like mango and passion fruit. One box comes with 36 mini pies for $8.99, which makes each one about 30 cents.

The St Michel family bakery was founded in 1905 and produces a variety of baked goods in France, ranging from madeleine cakes to caramel palmiers. Over the years, this patisserie has expanded to distribute its desserts to the United States.

One digital creator, @costco.so.obsessed, who shares the latest finds at Costco, posted about these new mini mango and passion fruit mini French tarts. One person said, “Those look delish!” While another user mentioned, “Yum!”

With Easter approaching, you can skip the hassle of making dessert, set up a table, and have these tropical mini French tarts serve as the main event. Since they’re tiny, you can layer a bunch of them on a cake stand so people can graze on them when they’re ready for their sweet course.

Beyond these tropical mini tarts, you can spot tons of French gems at Costco right now. The warehouse store is currently selling butter cookies and sponge cakes produced by the St Michel family bakery. Keep in mind that once social media catches wind of these popular finds, it becomes harder to spot them on the shelves, so if you’re the slightest bit interested, you’ll definitely want to rack up while you can.
