I’m unsure what to make with it. I haven’t eaten meat since I was a kid and I don’t remember eating anything with canned chicken then. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks

I’ve not had it but it sounds like it could be great for a “chik’n” salad–like a potato salad with that in it. You could also potentially cook it with some mexican seasonings and make vegan chik’n fajitas?

I have, it’s pretty good. I make it into a chicken salad sandwich. Mayo, mustard, pickles salt and pepper. Put it on some toasted bread and you have a solid snack.

Soup? Then again that is what beans 🫘 are for. The meat alternative we eat is chicken nuggets for one picky eater child. Oh and I need to order more quorn roasts….

Can you please share snapshot of the ingredients?

Have you seen the ingredient list on those products? Saying that is plant-based takes a pretty big stretch of the imagination.

Yes, it’s not bad.. definitely needs seasoning! I made chicken salad sandwich.. but now I think I should have divide it up into small bowls, and tried different seasonings.. instead of just the basic chicken salad..

I like their spam-luncheon style one but it’s pricey and salty

I had their teriyaki chick’n. It was absolutely vile. I still have a couple cans of other flavors but haven’t dared to open them. It was so gross. Both the texture and the taste were nasty.

I found it to be entirely inedible. Really really salty and an odd flavour.

I took this backpacking last August and it came in clutch. I just ate it with crackers. It’s great.

While plant based, I wouldn’t consider this a whole food or even particularly healthy bc of the palm oil and relatively high sodium content. It’s fairly low protein for being mostly soy which is fairly suspicious as well. I’d rather use smashed chickpeas to make a “chicken” salad.

Is it made with jackfruit?
