Served between Monday and Friday from 10am ’til noon, and starting an hour earlier on weekends, breakfast at this charming French brasserie comes as à la carte or a set menu affair, with three courses of deliciousness including chia seeds and banana split for starters, omelette for main and French toast for dessert.
Yes really, dessert at breakfast. Looking to add a little sparkle to your weekend? Upgrading to an hour of free-flowing bubbly should do the trick.

The first thing you’ll notice when you sit down to breakfast at Le Noir Café is how vast the menu is. Split into freshly-cooked dishes like eggs, breakfast pizza and avo on toast, dishes from around the world (think a full English, Arabic and Italian-influenced plates), sweets, breakfast bowls and sides, it has everything you need to start the day right.
Coffees, teas, smoothies and freshly-squeezed juices are also thrown into the mix at this cute restaurant, which also puts on a great brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Sanderson’s

So much more than just smashed avocado on toast and an average shakshouka, this charming Al Seef spot serves up next-level takes on your favourite brekky items. It is the brainchild of UAE-based culinary kingpin Sergio Lopez, after all.
Menu highlights include homemade mango granola, brioche French toast, sweet potato frittata, breakfast burgers and huevos rancheros on the menu, which are all served within a supremely pretty space of pale woods, rattan furnishings and swathes of greenery.

Brekkie by the beach? Don’t mind if we do. A light and airy space with minimalist décor, Society is what breakfast dreams are made of, serving everything from eggs Benedict on a croissant and Turkish eggs to fluffy banana bread with citrus mascarpone, acai bowls and French toast.
We’re particularly fond of the big picture windows that look out onto Saadiyat’s white sands. Find a better view to enjoy alongside your coffee, we’ll wait.

If you’re in a rush, you can also simply grab some pastries or a croissant and get on with your day. The best of both worlds.

tashas

If we ever needed proof that not eggs are created equal, then breakfast at tashas is it. Specialities at this picturesque marina spot, which hails from South Africa via Dubai and has a cult following across the Emirates, include Spanish eggs and the toasted sesame breakfast bun, while its creamed avo on toast and brioche French toast are also particularly memorable. Add to that killer coffee and you’ve got a very strong start to the day.
