Okay this is next level mack. My fav so far and I’m not always a huge fan of mackerel. The fish is very firm and the prices stay together well. The oil is fantastic and tastes like a little Italian woman hand squeezed some Calabrian olives into this tin.
The lemon flavor is faint but enough to taste. The capers are delicious and I don’t like capers. This tin is expensive but worth it ($8).
I had this on a crispbread with some hot sauce but honestly eating this any possible way would be great. I’d even consider boofing it just to see how it feels.
I do wish that Patagonia provided the nutrition info of a drained can though. 9.1 out of 10.

I thought the crispbread was an uncooked block of ramen at first. I’ve not had a Patagonia tin that didn’t exceed my expectations.
Patagonia mussels are so much better than other tinned mussels that I’ve had, that I plan to try more of their products.
I strongly prefer when companies provide the nutrition information for drained tins. But, I also realize that there are many people who consume the oil as well as the fish, so I understand why some companies include all tin contents in the information.
