The much-anticipated French Food Festival is set to return to the Larose Civic Center Park from October 25-27, 2024. This beloved annual event promises a weekend filled with the best of Cajun culture, food, music, and family-friendly fun, as locals and visitors alike gather to celebrate the rich culinary and cultural heritage of the region.
Festival director Myra Ougel expressed excitement for the 2024 festivities, stating, “All of the favorite delicacies that people have come to expect from the festival will be back, and we hope everyone comes hungry and leaves happy!”
Cajun Delicacies to Savor
The festival’s namesake is “French Food,” and it remains a highlight of the weekend. A wide variety of Cajun dishes will be available, including:

Families can also enjoy carnival rides and games all weekend long. Pay-one-price ride bracelets will be available for $35 per session or $85 for the entire weekend. Ride sessions will be offered at the following times:

This year, the 2024 French Food Festival Grand Marshal XLIV is Mr. Mike Callais, with Ms. Emmie Carriere crowned as the FFF Miss Queen and Ms. Brynna Theriot as the FFF Teen Queen.
