Everything was roasted for this recipe. Once everything is blended, I follow up by frying the salsa in a pot with a little bit of oil, for little less than 10min while continuously stirring.

Also I’m pretty sure serving it with one of those squeezy squirt bottles improves the taste even more
Dumb question, but do you rehydrate and roast the arbol & guajillo chiles?
So great! One of my favorite taqueria style sauce is El Zarape out of way out west Garden City, KS. Been trying to recreate it but maybe missing the the “frying” step. Can you explain that?
