Hi I was wondering if anyone has type to clean these types of grates that came with the iwatani ABR series gas grills.
Having a hard time removing the carbon from the grill even when soaking in hot water and soap overnight and scrubbing it with metal bristles brush.
Any tips would be appreciated !

Scrub it off after it’s heated up. That should get rid of most gunks. It’s not going to be silver again. They are also pretty disposable.
I used half of a lemon and scrubbed the grate. I have heard of people using an onion to do the same thing. I found out that a small ball of aluminum foil works, but I have not tried that method.
Just soak in hot soapy water & scrub residue with a stiff nylon brush. Metal color will dull after heat exposure which is normal.
