Reps wanted $20 for a glove box holder, so I took that personally and printed my own for a couple cents.

I’ve been considering one of these, but a couple cents sounds like a lie. How much did it take to get you to the point where it’s now a couple cents?

In the sake of intellectual honesty, this took juuust a bit more than a couple cents to create.
Probably more like 6-12 bucks, all said and done. Not even counting the cost of the time taken to print out, clip off and/or sand down. Doesn’t seem like there’s been any acetone wash or rubdown, either. So, that’s a good trip taken to savingsville, too.
You probably could’ve done it without printing or taking 6 hours to do it, for around 40 cents for the anchors and screws, but whatever. You say potato, I say Occam’s Razor.
As long as you’re not still printing automatic machine gun parts and assemblies 24-7, anymore. I’ll consider it a win.
Go take a smoke break, ya did good’ish. We’ll make sure Arnulfo and Gregorio don’t knock it down and install something simpler. But props, regardless. You do know how I like everything in flat black matte against dishpit plywood.

You are not counting your time and effort, lol

How much did you spend on the printer though?

Those GFS gloves are the worst. Literally the Trojan bare skin in terms of thickness of gloves.

Wow can’t believe the sticklers in these comments! Nice job!! I knew what you meant by a couple of cents, and my life is no different for finding out that you actually meant ~$.60 and not $.03, because I have better things to think about!

Bro how are people arguing with you over this holy fucking shit get a life

Surprised 90% of the comments are angrily trying to argue why this is actually worse. Dude made his own with minimal effort for much cheaper, seems pretty clear and obvious to me. Redditors are such chodes

But won’t you think of the shareholders?!

Some of the prices on small things like this are insane. I was going to order a new holder for our portion bags a while back and they wanted almost $100 for it. It’s a freaking 10” tall wire rack. I ended up fixing it with tape and paper clips.

Gotta get the reps to fight each other. Just tell one you will buy all gloves from him if his price is a dollar lower than the other guys and he throws in a few free holders. There is decent margin on in house branded disposables, I’m sure one would take you up on that instantly. Nice print either way.

Good job on finding a solution. $20 for a single give box holder is insanely normal.

Bro wtf you should’ve just given in to our corporate overlords and bought an insanely priced piece of cheap plastic instead of making it yourself bro you’re actually stupid I love consumerism.
