These are the first 4 loaves I’ve ever made and it’s been such a wonderful distraction from the stress of IVF. I am wondering though, what’s the best way to store this bread?

Good luck on your IVF journey!

You can freeze an entire uncut loaf – I keep them in a gallon ziplock bag I the freezer. Defrost on counter for a few hours and pop in oven to warm for maybe 10 mins. Delicious!

Freeze them and put them in the oven when ready to use them

  4. Don’t let Intermural Volleyball Finals get you down!

  5. I’ve no idea how to store them, but best of luck with IVF. I’ve been there; my distraction of choice was romance novels.

Similar boat over here! I started my sourdough the month we started fertility treatment! Nice little distraction, however my sourdough is still coming out more like a frisbee compared to yours! Yours look amazing!

I did IVF also and send you big hopes to get that bun in your oven!! Also, I really recommend acupuncture along with it if you haven’t tried that yet.

Someone else commented you can freeze a whole loaf. You can! You can also freeze a sliced loaf, which is my preference, because you can pop in the toaster as needed.

Just slice and throw in a freezer bag. Though if you keep going with the baking, consider a bread slicer like Zassenhaus. Game changing.

Sending you a big hug from a fellow ivfer. Those look beautiful!

Wishing you ripe and healthy embryos, and all the pregnancy symptoms ❤️❤️ your loaves look fab! Nothing to add about storing bread. 🙁 Maybe you can give them to family/friends/coworkers?
