The Poteet strawberries are back in stores where I am in Texas, so I decided I should try making some strawberry shortcake. I've made it in the past, but a long time ago and not vegan. The sponge cake recipe I used called for steaming instead of baking it – I think this is a great idea, but I also think I messed it up 😅. Next time, I won't use the absolute lowest heat setting. Also, I tried country crock's plant cream for the first time, and it was amazing! ❤️🍰🍓
