While I wouldn’t say it’s fine dining per se but I would say if you had 3 nights in Vancouver this is a must visit.

It’s not downtown but I love Fraserhood. There are so many great places to eat or grab a cocktail around there so I’d recommend looking for a spot for a drink before or after. However the cocktails and wine list at Bravo are very good. Look for great value, unique wines like those from Slovenia or always an interesting, dry, local, sparkling wine.

The restaurant itself is beautiful inside. They did such a good job and if you talk to the owners it was a lot of their own sweat and blood that went into it.

The service is what makes this place special. The team here truly understands how to make you feel at home. They just take such good care of you here. If you ever are celebrating anything they always do something special. They just care. Truly. It’s like being taken care of by really good friends.

Food is spectacular. The menu is always changing. Probably 60% different than our last visit 4 months prior. The salmon is a must order. I’d put this up there against anything else for the tastiest bite in the city. They dry age the fish which gives it this firmness of texture, the maple miso sauce is incredible and they have this crunch on top that makes it texturally perfect. Everything else here is good but the salmon is just another level. After having it once it easily hits my top 10 of most memorable, tasty dishes. I’ve had salmon every which way but nothing comes close. Tuna toast, ravioli and scallops all were delicious as well.

Please if you haven’t, visit this place. It deserves a star. Must visit on your trip to Vancouver.
