I have done this with cold brew and it’s awesome. Also 10/10 for espresso martinis.
What I will say though is that it permanently stained/flavored my silicone ice trays, so following here to see what other day.
The only time I have leftover coffee is when it’s the sad inch of not-great coffee at the bottom of the carafe. But I did know a place that made iced coffee with coffee ice cubes and I thought that was brilliant.
Leftover brewed coffee goes into a sealed mason jar into my fridge for iced coffee the next day. I just prefer iced coffee with regular ice cubes.
I freeze it for ice cubes and add to my breakfast shakes. No calories and a little added caffeine.
I have aways done this – this way when the ice melts the coffee isn’t diluted.
