About ten years ago my now wife had a similar situation. We started living together and she wanted meat (after about 10 years of vegetarianism). I wouldn’t say she craved it but asked for it. Started with chicken but after a couple weeks wanted a steak. I obliged. We haven’t turned back.

I never craved red meat until my iron was very low, now that i take supplements i no longer get the cravings

I was a vegetarian/sometimes vegan almost my entire life (I even have a tattoo about it) and out of nowhere around 23 I became absolutely RAVENOUS for steak and now I eat meat almost every day. I call myself a recovering vegetarian.
