Hi all! I have a pit boss that I've had for years but I brought it to my other property. I looked at home depot and lowes for sales on a Traeger and I was waiting for one but couldn't find one yet. Then I saw someone give this traeger away to save it from a land fill because it does not power on. I brought it home and isolated the issue to the hot rod. The first one I bought from amazon was defective but it had overnight shipping for both the pot and the rod. I ended ordering another one with the pot made of stainless steel and it finally works. I just wanted to confirm, is this the pro 22? It does have some rust on the barrel. Probably from an overfire. I'm debating if I should paint it or buy an new barrel.

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!
