Reverse seared @ 225 in the oven until 125 internal. Seared with avocado oil wagyu tallow.

    I just do not understand why people love tomahawk steaks. That bone is completely useless and just for show but you pay for it’s weight. In culinary school we called it non functional garnish

    Beautiful cook though, looks delicious

    I used to think I enjoyed tomahawks. But I realized that the flesh to sear ratio just isn’t right. The salt just never permeated deep enough. Now I prefer just regular split bone ribeyes.
