Trying to find a good spicy ketchup. This one was fine but tasted more like BBQ sauce, any other suggestions?

Get the Ghost Pepper one. That’s my go to.

I tried the Heinz habanero it’s less spicy than the jalapeño they had a few years ago

Add your own scorpion/ghost/reaper powder to regular ketchup

To be fair, most popular BBQ sauces really are just spicy ketchup.

Melinda’s makes a habanero ketchup that I found to be pretty good. Had a nice heat to it.

Just go to the $1.25 store they have decent spicy ketchup

You do know what chipotle is supposed to taste like right?

Try any habanero or ghost pepper ketchup next time

Speaking of bbq sauce. Try blue hogs raspberry chipotle bbq sauce. It’s amazing. For ketchup nothing beats ketchup and tobacco

I know you want it in the bottle premade, but I’d recommend the ketchup of your choice and add Tabasco Scorpion until it’s where you want it heat wise. Little bit goes a *long* way.

Melinda’s used to make a ghost pepper BBQ sauce, and I loved it. I still use their ghost pepper ketchup, but I miss the BBQ sauce.

I’d recommend that you ferment the chillies yourself and make your own.

  12. I’m in the minority but I think Melinda’s is below 5/10. Not impressive whatsoever.

lol, of course it tastes like BBQ sauce. You know chipotles are **smoked** jalapenos, right?

I mix Outer Limits Ghost Pepper & Roasted Garlic with ketchup when I want spicy ketchup.

Use regular ketchup and spice it up with dried pepper flakes or powder. I’ve been doing this for years.

  15. The Whataburger Spicy Ketchup is quite fine, if a bit mild.

IMO, get a good, organic ketchup, and mix some Tabasco scorpion sauce into it. It’s great!

Hoff & Pepper’s Smoken Ghost Ketchup

(Or just get their SG sauce and mix it with ketchup like I do)

  18. Melinda’s jalapeño ketchup is good. If you need it hotter, add a few drops of Melinda’s ghost pepper to it.
