The name of this ramen house was written only in Japanese, 久留米ラーメン, but Google translate says it’s called Kurume Ramen. It’s near Beppu station, a very small shop with one very hard working man behind the counter.
The broth was rich and a little peppery, and the charred pickles on top gave it a wonderfully tangy element.
