Just when you thought we’d reached peak brasserie, another one comes along
We’ve had Camille in Borough Market and Josephine in Fulham arrive recently and now Marceline, another French name brasserie, is joining the party this summer. Opening in Canary Wharf, Marceline will be taking inspo from the brasseries of Paris and New York and feeding the people of E14 from morning to night, seven days a week.
Robert Aikens, who’s worked at Le Gavroche, Tom’s Kitchen and most recently Pastis in NYC, will be heading up the kitchen, cooking comforting and classic dishes like:

The drinks offering at Marceline is no afterthought; Jeffrey Koren (previously of the three-star Maaemo in Norway) is curating the wine list, which’ll have over 30 by-the-glass options and more than 100 bins from across Europe. There’s a dedicated bar inside the restaurant but you’ll also be able to get in on the cocktail action in the main dining room with the likes of Two Sips Martinis, St Germain Spritzes and Absinthe Sours served tableside.
